Privacy policy
What Jo collects, why, and how you stay in control. In plain language.
1. The essentials, in one sentence
We collect only what's strictly necessary (mostly your email), only with your consent, to send you what you asked for. Your data is never sold or shared — it's written into the Jo Contract.
2. Data controller
Gil Jacob Benittah, sole trader (SIREN 539 147 298), publisher of the lejodelia.fr site. Contact: contact@lejodelia.fr — postal details in the legal notice.
3. What data, and what for
- Your email address (newsletter / free kit / Jo Club waitlist forms) — to send you the content you requested and, if you agree, our updates.
- Your status (visitor, prospect, Jo Club member, VIP) — to send you the right content and manage your access.
- Account data (if you create a member account) — email and login ID, to give you access to members-only content.
- Course preference (Roadmap page) — to prioritize the courses you're waiting for.
Legal basis: your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) and, for members, performance of the subscription contract.
4. Who processes this data for us
Trusted providers, solely to run the service:
- Brevo — sending emails and managing the contact list.
- Netlify — site hosting and member accounts (secure login).
- Stripe — subscription payments (Jo stores no banking data).
Transfers outside the European Union: some providers (Stripe, Netlify) may process data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and/or these providers' membership of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an appropriate level of protection.
No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes.
5. How long
Your data is kept for as long as necessary: for prospects, up to 3 years after the last contact; for customers/members, for the duration of the relationship then 3 years; accounting records (invoices) are kept for 10 years (article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code). You can request deletion at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Your rights
At any time you can: access your data, correct it, delete it, object to its use, request its portability, and withdraw your consent. Every email contains a 1-click unsubscribe link.
To exercise these rights: contact@lejodelia.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
7. Cookies
The site uses no advertising cookies or trackers. A technical login cookie (member role) is used solely to give members access to reserved content — it is strictly necessary to the service.
